Our store, the oldest health food shop in Jacksonville, sells top of the line products and has an excellent staff. We are the only health food shop in Florida with three licensed Pharmacists. We are the only health food shop with a licensed Nutritional consultant and 2 licensed massage therapists. We strive in taking care of one customer at a time. Our store was started by owner Gill Weise Sr.’s mother and father in 1940. His father Dr. Emil Weise was a Naturpath Physician, he developed natural products and remedies in his research laboratory. He compounded all of his homeopathic dilutions and believed that natural products metabolized better in the body than synthetic ones and had little or no side effects. After 65 years in business we still compound many of his remedies.
Gill’s mother, Ruth Weise, operated the Natural Food Shoppe. She was an expert Nutritionalist and practiced what she preached. She retired at 91, had no doctor and had never been in the hospital for any ailment. She lived until she was 98 and died healthy and happy.
